1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using AutoWrite (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AutoWrite is a Shopify application that provides AI-powered blog content generation, SEO optimization, keyword research, content scheduling, and publishing tools. The service uses Google Gemini AI to generate content based on your inputs and preferences.

3. Account & Access

To use AutoWrite, you must have an active Shopify store. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account. You must be at least 16 years old to use this service.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content generated through AutoWrite. Once content is generated, it is yours to use, modify, and publish as you see fit. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your generated content.

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AutoWrite's AI is provided on an “as-is” basis. While we strive for high-quality, accurate content:

  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before publishing
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated information
  • You should verify factual claims, statistics, and recommendations
  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or biases

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AutoWrite to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or misleading
  • Create spam or duplicate content across multiple stores
  • Violate any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the AI system
  • Exceed the usage limits of your plan

7. Subscription & Billing

AutoWrite offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify's billing system. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for paid plans. If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us for a full refund. After 30 days, refunds are provided at our discretion.

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoWrite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to AutoWrite at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, though your generated content remains in your Shopify store.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AutoWrite operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
